^{Midnight Estelle was only a little filly, when she tried to fly high down on a cloud. She loved to play around and she always wanted to fly. That day was not her very best day.

As she wanted to fly up and touch the sky even more. She wanted to go down without her parents help. She wanted to be free.

As she left herself and and flap her wings, she was happy, but she was going down, down, and down... she cried for somepony to help her, but nopony heard her. She fell to the deep cliffs of ponyville.

As her small body hit the ground, she hit herself to hard as her horn and wings broke. Her horn was chipped of as a fallen tooth and her wings, bend and broken.

She cried or help... for her mother to help her... "Mama..." She whispered, she couldn't talk loud, her throat hurts, "Mama...!"

She was scared and lonely, what if she doesn't make it? What if she dies in there and is too late? A pony saw her, the pony gasp and quickly went for help.(this hospital thing may sound more human)

They quickly took her to the pony hospital and tried to make surgery. Her parents quickly went and see her and beg celestia(god) og her to be alright. Her mother cried as she saw her.

The pony doctors needed to take off her horn, the fix her wings as well. The bad news, she can't fly as her bones are broken, and she can't do magic as her horn is missing.

The found out on how to make this pony do magic and fix her bones.

A almost looking metal horn and wings. Anything to make this pony fly and use her magic. The pony doctors did everything the can and they used magic for the metal horn and wings to be connected with her bones...

Yes, this is how Midnight got her wings and horn like that. She wasn't born with them, but... the magic was great that the surgery was performed with pony magic it was probably bonded to her on a genetic level in order to best prevent rejection.

First time gore pony.

(It might be a bit rusty, this is my first critique ^^')
I really like this piece. It really explains how Middy got her bladed wings and horn.

Overall the vision of the piece was excellent. I really like it. But the tail looks like she is hanging off a cloud, when in the description she landed in the deep cliffs of Ponyville.

Originality: I've never seen anything like this. I've been on the internet for a while and never seen anything similar. So, you get five stars in this category.

Technique: Very dark. Like dark on dark. I really like what you did.

Impact: Very high on me. When I saw this, I was like "OH MY GOD MIDDY WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU WE NEED TO GET YOU TO A HOSPITAL!" Which to me, is strong. Really strong.

Overall, I love the piece.
